Leo the jolly lion had once again put it off as long as possible, but this morning the time had come. His sweeping mane was hanging low in his eyes and it was time to have it cut back to a respectable shape by Monkey the jungle barber. Leo needed a haircut.

And so the king of the animals sets off as soon as he gets up and prances through the jungle with lively steps to get a haircut. But what is that? Isn’t that Klara the lioness? Oh, she’s waving at him. There must be time to have a little chat with her. Leo slows down and smiles happily at his friend.

That’s how you can imagine Leo’s day. And it won’t be the only encounter. He has lots of friends and whenever he meets one, he stops for a moment, chats a little and wastes precious time. Zebra, parrot and rhino are just waiting to tell Leo the latest news. This is where the players of this fun and exciting family game come into their own. Help Leo to find his way through the jungle and not lose too much time. Because he has a job to do. His mane has to be cut.

Each player has a random set of movement cards in different colors. They can use these to move Leo along the jungle path, which looks different in every game. In doing so, he randomly encounters his friends, who are also represented by several colors. If the color of the movement card played is the same as the color of the friend, Leo has enough willpower not to fall into a lengthy conversation with the friend and therefore does not lose any time.

The hand of the clock indicates when the day is over. If Leo doesn’t make it to Monkey in time, his mane literally grows over his head. But don’t worry, nothing is lost yet. The players try again the next day and now know the position of some of Leo’s friends in this unusual memory game. Together, you can learn more about the jungle and its inhabitants with each passing day and play your movement cards so skillfully that you reach the goal without stopping.

Everyone won the game together when Leo arrived with Monkey, but also lost together when his mane was still tossing long and wild on his head after four days.

Communication, a good memory and a little bit of luck are the secret of this game, which is not only fun for the younger ones among us. The large, colorful and lovingly designed game material invites you to play an exciting game again and again and the ever-changing game structure ensures timeless fun.
