Hexenhaus is a fun family game that shows the fairytale world and its characters from a new perspective in a whimsical way, namely that of the witch around the gingerbread house.

The aim of the game is to attract and capture fairytale creatures by baking your own gingerbread. To do this, each player cleverly builds their cake house from gingerbread tiles, stairs and joker star elements. Each component creates gingerbread that can be used to tempt the hungry gourmets or trigger special effects that help to attract more characters or make your witch’s house look better.

In addition to the simple tile placement and resource rules, there are mission cards that can be obtained by completing floors. These give, among other things, a direct advantage in the game or additional victory points at the end of the game. It is important to weigh up which strategy you can use to gain a points advantage.

However, a large part of the fun is certainly also down to the witty and dedicated drawings of the individual fairy tale characters. A wide range of different fantastic creatures are represented here, all of which are a little more comical than in their original stories. From Puss in Boots, to Alice from Wonderland, to the Scarecrow from the turmoil of the Land of the Wizard of Oz, they have all come together to succumb to the sweet tooth of your crispy houses.

So, preheat your ovens, knead the dough properly and heat up the fairytale gang. The fun escalates when the last witches fight over the Rumpelstilzchen.
